Five stars for the customer service and the ambiance. Top notch. Overall was a bit dissatisfied since the drinks we bought weren’t the best. We got the cold chocolate milk and a matcha and felt like it could really improve on the taste and texture. Too watery I felt. Nevertheless the staff were very polite and friendly and also efficient. They have a nice selection of coffees and some sweet treat. The toilet was clean and spacious as well. Next time I wanna try one of their coffees and see if I can give them 5 starts
I came across Flagship via Instagram and saw how green their matcha was and thought I’d check it out. I now come here every chance I get. The ceremonial matcha is great, the hojicha latte, and their Earth day latte (matcha and spirulina) too. The music is exactly my taste too. I like to come here to catch up with friends or to study it’s a lovely environment. I tried the sourdough pistachio croissant and the chocolate chip cookie, both vegan, as are many of the sweet treats, and very pleased. Especially the cookie nicely gooey in the middle. The staff are always very welcoming and the owner you can tell puts so much into this place and I’m very happy to support it even if that means driving half an hour to get there!
New coffee shop with great coffee. At the moment in portswood we have many coffee places but I saw some small points that make this cafe different. First of all the tasting of the coffee was very smooth and enjoyable. The second was the way they served coffee in a repurposed coffee husks cup with small glass of water on the side. They also bring one small piece of paper with coffee that you can find all the information about the coffee beans you drink in it.For me it’s kind of respect to the customer who comes to drink good coffee. Staff were friendly as well. The only problem for me was hard wood benches that were not comfortable to sit. If they put some cushions I think is better and also the cafe atmosphere is very neutrally designed and some colour touch will make it more warm. ( this is my personal taste)
I popped in recently for a little treat and a coffee. Flagship were welcoming with vegan friendly options clearly labelled and great coffee. The cinnamon bun was huge!
I like coffee. And I can tell when other people are serious about it. Let me tell you that Flagship cares about coffee, and it's about time we got a place like this in Portswood! I had a perfect flat white, which they also served with water, not something you see very often. Gorgeous presentation. The staff were very friendly and the coffeeplace is elegant with a good atmosphere. I will definitely visit again soon!
I've been here a couple of times and always enjoyed their matcha and when I called in today the owner (Tyler I believe!) pointed out their new summer matcha menu. Holy. Moly. I went for the banana bread matcha, genuinely without a doubt the best matcha I've ever had!! I unfortunately start work before Flagship opens and finish after it shuts otherwise I would be here every day. Absolutely try out their new flavours if you're a matcha fan. The team are always so friendly and the store itself has such a lovely atmosphere. Thanks so much <3
